The size bias of Late Quaternary extinctions shows up on every continent and in every trophic group over the past 100 ky.  It does not show up in the Cenozoic fossil record of terrestrial mammals, spanning the past 65 million years, suggesting that the advent of hominin hunting is the key factor distinguishing Late Quaternary extinction patterns from all prrevious time intervals.
